We are Hailey and Mike Snowden. We've come to farming through a love of dirt, good food, and a sustainable and honest livelihood. We absolutely relish sharing the fruits (and leaves! and roots!) of our labor with our community. Our farm is our home for the long haul, and our goal is to improve its biodiversity and soils year after year. As a third generation on our family land in Forest, we have deep roots and a love of our land. Our team’s goal is to enhance our farm ecosystem by producing the most nourishing food in Lynchburg. Our produce is grown in living soil with no synthetic sprays whatsoever.

In 2023, the Rivers Family moved back to Appalachia where our roots run deep.   For two Virginia Tech graduates exiting the hustle and bustle of corporate America, we happily settled into sustainable mushroom farming.  Fate graciously allowed us to become stewards of the homestead and acreage that was originally the Beale Farm  in Buchanan, VA.

We are Cricker and Liz Brooks, a husband and wife (and 2 dog) farm team passionate about providing our local communities with food of exceptional quality, nutrition, and taste. We believe that great food and true health begins with vibrant, healthy soil and everything we do on the farm works in support of this belief.
